A reality show has been shown to be fake, but rather than admit it they're trying to make someone else a scapegoat.

They are now saying...and you know the kinds of things They say.....that people who watch tv on DVR's actually might watch more ads. The prevailing wisdom was that DVRs and Tivo type devices would kill off ads because everyone would fast forward through them.

I have to admit, while I fast forward through most ads I'll actually stop and rewatch a good one...sometimes even several times.

ASHLAND -- In a scene reminiscent of the Cartoon Network bomb scare that paralyzed the Boston area in January, police shut down a strip mall yesterday in this small western suburb after employees at a Bank of America branch mistook a botched fax for a bomb threat.

Frustrated shop owners said the branch overreacted to the strange fax, which turned out to be an in-house marketing document sent by the bank's corporate office.

The best "Hunter S Thompson" interview ever....except it's really a Hunter impersonator. I wonder if we're going to have those impersonators now. It's not just for Elvis anymore. I suppose it's the corollary of Andy Warhohl's "Everyone will be famous for 15 minutes." If everyone is famous, then everyone also has to have a comeback special. And then they get impersonators.

One day people will be nostalgic for now. Paris Hilton will have a "Where are they now?" special. Lindsay will probably die of an overdose and then she'll be like a redheaded Marilyn or Jim Morrison without the charisma.

I wonder who will play my part in the Broadway version of my life?
