He want's to play the show as his old character. Sort of a guy who never grew up and thinks he's young, but is really old. Like the uncool guy at the coffeeshop who says "hey, kids, where are the cool parties this weekend?" And if you tell him he actually shows up.
Depp tells the New York Daily News, "Now that would be interesting. "To go back and play the same character that I played 20 years ago with a bunch of people talking behind his back, going, 'He's out of his mind. He's really old now. But he thinks that he's really young.' That I would love to do.
I used to love that show, and it went way downhill after Depp left.
